To maintain the open spaces in the parish to a high standard.  \n2. To check that play equipment conforms to ROSPA standards at the Council’s sites and assist with completion of inspection records.  \n3. To make minor repairs to the play equipment including the rubber surface.  \n4. To maintain the boundaries of any land owned or managed by the Parish Council.  \n5. To maintain the Council’s buildings to include minor DIY tasks.  \n6. To maintain the Council’s seats at various locations.  \n7. To maintain the Council’s bus shelters.  \n8. To maintain the Moat Pond.  \n9. To maintain the allotment site including the grass paths, boundary hedge and water troughs.  \n10. To assist with completion of risk assessments.  \n11. To assist with maintenance of the Council’s vehicles and equipment and completion of appropriate records.  \n12. To undertake other maintenance duties around the parish.  \n13. To undertake maintenance of trees and duties using the chainsaw as directed.  \n14. Driving all council vehicles including use of the trailer where qualified.  \n15. Using the tractor and implements (shredder, front bucket, side arm flail) as directed.  \n16. To make equipment repairs.  \n17. Assist with the installation of street furniture, ie benches and bins.  \n18. Litter picking, emptying waste bins and disposing of fly tipping.  \n19. To be a responsible key holder for the Parish Council’s properties.  \n20. To attend relevant training courses required for the performance of the post.  \n21. To undertake additional duties as required by the Grounds Team Manager or the Clerk.  \nWorking with Councillors and the Community:  \n22. To maintain effective and positive public relations and help to promote the image of the Council within Wroughton Parish to residents, visitors and outside bodies.  \n23.
