These letters confirm that the client meets the criteria for gender-affirming treatments such as hormone therapy or gender affirmation surgery. Additionally, the letter states that the client and their therapist have discussed the potential risks of starting hormone therapy or undergoing gender-affirmation surgery, as well as any post-surgical care and support plans. These letters adhere to guidelines established by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), an international authority on transgender healthcare. \nWho Can Get a WPATH Letter From Us? \nIf you are working with a therapist at the Transgender Center of the Rockies (a program of Mile High Behavioral Healthcare), you may be eligible to receive a WPATH letter. This process is open to transgender and non-binary clients who are seeking support for surgery, or other forms of gender-affirming care. \nHow Much Does It Cost? \nWe accept Medicaid and are in-network with Aetna and Cigna.
