Introduction \nDescription \nWinHorizon is the EverTrust WCCE proxy solution part ofEverTrust Horizon suite. \nThis document is specific to WinHorizon version 2.1. \nWinHorizon allows to connect Horizon to Windows Certificate Enrollment (WCCE) in order to issue certificates from an Active Directory environment. \nManaging certificate lifecycle through the WCCE protocol involves up to three components: \n• One or more Active Directory assets (domain controller, server, workstation, user) as WCCE Client, \n• WinHorizon as the Active Directory enrollment service, \n• Horizon as the WCCE proxy. \nThe protocol paradigm can be described as follows: Every Windows Active Directory member (machines, users) can use DCOM interfaces to interact with a CA to request certificate enrollment. \nInstallation \nTo install WinHorizon, please refer to the Installation Procedure section. \nUninstallation \nTo uninstall WinHorizon, please refer to the Uninstallation Procedure section. \n1.2. Specifications & Requirements \nYou have to deploy WinHorizon inside an Active Directory forest. \nRequirements \nHardware requirements \nThe following elements are considered as hardware requirements: \n• 50 GB of disk (at least); \n• 4 GB of RAM (at least) . \nOperating system requirements \nThe operating system should be installed using an english install ISO. The following elements are considered as operating system requirements: \n• Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (64-bit); \n• Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (64-bit); \n• Microsoft Windows Server 2022 (64-bit) . \n• Microsoft Windows Server 2025 (64-bit) . \nActive Directory requirements \nThe following elements are considered as Active Directory system requirements: \n• Active Directory Schema version: 30 or higher; \n• Domain Controller(s) OS version: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or higher; \n• Forest functional level: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or higher. \nPrerequisites \nThis section describes the system and software pre-requisites to install WinHorizon. \nSystem prerequisites \nThe following elements are considered as system pre-requisites: \n• Server must be part of a domain of your Active Directory forest; \n• Access with administrative privileges to the server mentioned above; \n• An account with Full Control permissions on Public Key Services (Sites and Services > Services > Public Key Services) who can open sessions on WinHorizon’s server or an enterprise administrator account. \nNetwork prerequisites \nThe following network flows must be opened: \n\n| Source | Destination | Port | Description |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| CLIENTS_IP | WINHORIZON_IP | 1024-6553","cbCaim71W7xWSzDe","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaim71W7xWSzDe","pdf",2647149,31,"English","# Table of Contents\n## Installation\n## Administration\n## Release notes\n### WinHorizon 2.1.0 release notes\n### WinHorizon 2.1.1 release notes","[{\"question\":\"What is WinHorizon used for in a certificate enrollment setup?\",\"answer\":\"WinHorizon connects Horizon to Windows Certificate Enrollment (WCCE) to issue certificates from an Active Directory environment.
