The template’s primary purpose is to align how certified laboratories report to WHO so that reports are uniform and facilitate efficient review by the PQS Secretariat. WHO recognizes that the format for reporting will require some flexibility considering the different equipment categories and testing requirements. Laboratories are therefore authorized to make modifications to the provided template, as appropriate. This template can be accessed on the WHO PQS website. \nAll deviations from the tests in the protocol must be approved by the PQS Secretariat in advance in writing; otherwise, the testing will be invalid. \n• Italic text provides instruction or notes to the author and should be deleted from the file after completion. \n• Red text should be replaced with your values and changed to black. \n• Black (non-italic) text is a part of the form and can be left alone or updated as appropriate. \nPage layout: \n• Use A4 (210 x 297 mm) paper in portrait orientation. \n• Left, right, top, and bottom margins should be 2.5 cm from the edge. \nWord styles: As appropriate, use the following Word styles already configured in this file. \n\n| Style name | Typeface | Size | Attributes | Used for |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Heading 1 | Arial | 18 point | Bold\u003Cbr>21-point spacing before and 12-point spacing after | First-level headings |\n| Heading 2 | Arial | 14 point | 21-point spacing before and 12-point spacing after | Second-level headings |\n| Heading 3 | Georgia | 11 point | Bold\u003Cbr>18-point spacing before and 6-point spacing after | Third-level headings |\n\n1 of 18 DD MMM YYYY \nWHO/PQT/VAX/IMD/Laboratory Report Template \n20, AVENUE APPIA– CH-1211 GENEVA 27– SWITZERLAND– TEL CENTRAL +41 22 791 2111– FAX CENTRAL +41 22 791 3111 WWW.WHO.INT \n\n| Style name | Typeface | Size | Attributes | Used for |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Body text | Georgia | 11 point | 0-point spacing before and 11-point spacing after | Body text |\n\nFigures: Figures help to illustrate statistical or temperature data and compare them. If you provide figures, please: \n• Label figures in the order in which they appear in the text (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3). \n• Ensure each figure fits on a single A4 (210 x 297 mm) page in portrait orientation. \n• Clearly label the axes of graphs and give the relevant units of measurement in parentheses. \n• Explain or identify all parts. \n• Ensure that all text is legible. \n• Label multipanel figures as a, b, c, d, etc. \n• Place the caption above the figure. The caption should be informative enough so that the reader can understand the figure without needing to refer to the narrative text. \n• Explain any acronyms or abbreviations below the figure in a footnote, even if they previously are defined elsewhere. \n• Ensure all lines, legends, colours, and curves are distinguishable from each other. \n• Highlight important temperature bands (e.g., if excursions occur outside of 2°C to 8°C, highlight the 2°C to 8°C band). \n• Indicate appliance pass/fail for each temperature data figure, as appropriate. \n• Where appropriate, use standard International System of Units (SI)i with correct symbols. \nBulleted lists: Often, the protocol will ask for simple data, in which case we recommend using a bulleted list instead of a table. Avoid more than two levels of bullets or nested lists (i.e., lists within lists), as such document components can decrease readability and serve to confuse. If the list is more than one level, then we recommend using a table. \nFor example, the text below contains simple data and is appropriate for a bulleted ","cbCaiou1OgykIKL9","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiou1OgykIKL9","pdf",348126,"English","# Instructions\n## Layout and styles\n## Figures\n## Bulleted lists\n## Tables\n## Submittal","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the WHO PQS laboratory report template?\",\"answer\":\"To standardize how certified laboratories report test results to WHO, ensuring uniform submissions and efficient review by the PQS Secretariat.\"},{\"question\":\"Are laboratories allowed to modify the template?\",\"answer\":\"Yes.
