The responsibilities also cover proper labelling and recording of materials to ensure production targets and stock control requirements are met.  \nAll materials must be stored in the appropriate manner according to their requirements. The warehouse operator will ensure that packaged and drummed materials are stored and segregated in the proper storage areas and warehouse area and that these areas are routinely monitored to enable efficient operation to the required standard.  \nThe site has high standards of housekeeping and the warehouse team have specific tasks allocated to them to ensure that all areas where materials are received in, despatched, and stored are clean and tidy.  \nPart of the Warehouse operatives time is spent on a Fork Lift Truck and it is their responsibility to see that this truck is properly maintained and that the necessary regular checks are carried out to ensure its road worthiness and also to maintain the required standard of operability by regular checking of key working parts.  \nIt is imperative that tasks are carried out to safe working practice and that every effort is made to ensure that incidents are kept to the absolute minimum. Any risk to the Safety, Health and Environment aspects of the job must be properly assessed before work is undertaken.
