It introduces wafer paper materials, tools, and food-safe conditioner for shaping and airbrushing, plus a practical method for making edible wafer glue from scraps. It explains how to select wafer paper grades, what wafer paper is made of, and how to store it for long-lasting results while supporting efficient cake-decorating workflows.","# wafer paper\n\nbutterfly ranunculus \n## O N L I N E WO R KS HO P BYA N NA AST AS H K I NA\n\nA N N A A S T A S K I N A | C A K E A R T I S T | A S T A S H K I N A C A K E S . Distilled water-basedmixture could be stored in a dark place for up to a month. \n### WAFER PAPER GLUE:\n\nTo make Edible Glue collect scraps of wafer paper. \nUsing sharp scissors cut wafer paper into small pieces, approximatelythe size of a rice grain. Place pieces in a small bowl and add water tocover it up and stir. Let the wafer paper glue sit for a few hours(preferable overnight) to bloom. \nAdd more water if you need to adjust the consistency. Mixture shouldbe relatively thick and smooth. \nAlternatively, you can microwave this mixture in 10-secondincrements until wafer paper is melted. \nStore in the fridge for up to a week. \nA N N A A S T A S H K I N A | C A K E A R T I S T | A S T A S H K I N A C A K E S . C O M \n### HOW TO CHOOSE WAFER PAPER:\n\nThere are 3 main types of wafer paper: \nO-grade (0.22 mm) – very thin and light. I use this type for multi-petalflowers and if I want to make something quick. \nMy favorite brand in this category – Oasis Supply 0-grade \nAD-grade (Premium or 0.27-0.35 mm) – the most common type ofpaper to make flowers, foliage, and decorations. Takes on texturebeautifully and is very versatile. The downside for me – I need to applyconditioner to both sides. \nMy most used 0.27mm is Saracino Wafer Paper or Oasis Supply AD -grade \nDD-grade (double-thickness or 0.6mm) – smooth on both sides andrelatively thick. Great for printing designs or painting. I wouldn’trecommend this type of wafer paper for making flowers. It may workfor making foliage and structured decoration, but it is stiff and fragile. \nI have Saracino Cardstock and Icing Images Double-thickness waferpaper, but you c","cbCaifyZC5i8KPUR","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaifyZC5i8KPUR","pdf",1475403,8,"English","en",105,"# Equipment list\n# Materials\n# Butterfly ranunculus petal template\n## AC TONIC™ (Alcohol Free Wafer Paper Conditioner)\n## Wafer paper glue\n# How to choose wafer paper\n# What is wafer paper\n# How to store wafer paper","[{\"question\":\"What is wafer paper made from and why is it used for cake decorating?\",\"answer\":\"Wafer paper is an edible sheet typically made from potato starch, water, and vegetable oil.
