Since 1978 the Dare County Animal Shelter has been serving the Outer Banks community to offer help to animals in need. The shelter is concerned with the welfare of all animals, domestic, feral, or wild. As the only animal shelter in Dare County, the Outer Banks SPCA is a community resource for pets and people that help abandoned and homeless animals across our County.  \nOur animal shelter offers a wide variety of services to promote the human-animal bond.
