It is important to note that a mid-project invoice and progress report is not required, but optional. You may also choose to submit an invoice only for the full grant amount at the end of the project, with the final report. \nIf you are submitting a mid-project invoice and progress report, they should be submitted as two separate documents together in a single email and sent [to](to elise.schadler@vermont.gov. This)[ ](to elise.schadler@vermont.gov. This)[elise.schadler@vermont.gov](to elise.schadler@vermont.gov. This)[. This](to elise.schadler@vermont.gov. This) single email may be submitted by anyone (town staff, volunteer project coordinator, etc. ) . \nAs outlined in Attachment B (page 3) of your grant agreement, the mid-project progress report must include the following components: \n􀀀 Documented expenditures to date in table format. \n􀀀 A detailed statement demonstrating work accomplished to date according to the scope as detailed in Attachment A. \nIf possible, these components should be combined into one PDF document. See the optional template on pages 2-3 of this document. \nIn addition to the required components of your mid-project progress report, our partners at the USDA Forest Service, federal Urban & Community Forestry Program, have asked us to support efforts to collect more detailed information. As you likely know, your 2024 Urban & Community Forestry grant is funded through a state allocation to Vermont made possible by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. An unprecedented $1.5 billion dollars has been awarded to support urban forestry projects nationwide. While your project was awarded prior to USDA Forest Service reporting requirements being put in place, please consider filling out the optional reporting components on pages 4-8 of this document to the best of your ability. \nAny data that Vermont can contribute to telling the story of this infusion of funding into our communities will support the field of urban and community forestry and may catalyze future funding opportunities. If you are willing and able, we thank you for taking the time to provide this additional data in advance. \nNote: The fillable PDF that follows is available as an optional resource to VT UCF grant awardees; its use is not required. If you use the template, download and save the PDF to your computer BEFORE beginning to edit. \nMid-Project Progress Report Template \nRequired Components: pages 2-3 \nDate: Project End Date: \nReporting Period (Approx. dates this progress report covers): \nGrant Recipient Name: \nProject Title: \nGrant \\#: \nDocumented expenditures to date \n\n| Category | Description of Expense | Amount of Expense |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Personnel (salary and fringe) | | |\n| Materials/Supplies | | |\n| Services | | |\n| Travel | | |\n| Other | | |\n| Total | | |\n\nExplanation of expenditures, if necessary: \nDescribe what work has been accomplished to date?
