LTA Fees and Levies-All fees, levies, taxes, duties, and administrative charges imposed by the Land Transport Authority (“LTA”) or any other authority in connection with the transfer of ownership of the Vehicle shall be borne solely by the Buyer.  \n2. Motor Insurance-The Buyer shall, at their own cost, obtain a valid motor insurance policy covering the Vehicle from the date of ownership transfer and for not less than the full period of the Vehicle’s road tax validity.  \n3. Deposit and Default-Upon signing, the Buyer shall pay the agreed deposit (“Deposit”) . If the Buyer fails to complete the purchase other than due to unsuccessful loan application or unsatisfactory vehicle inspection, and such failure is not caused by the Seller, the Deposit shall be forfeited to the Seller as liquidated damages (and not as a penalty) upon any form of acknowledgment between Seller and Buyer, and the Seller may resell the Vehicle without further notice. If the Seller fails to complete the sale for any reason not caused by the Buyer, the Deposit shall be refunded in full upon any form of acknowledgment between Seller and Buyer, whereupon this Agreement shall be terminated with no further liability on either party.  \n4. Failure to Obtain Financing- If the Buyer is unable to secure financing for the intended loan amount within the period agreed between the parties, this Agreement shall be deemed null and void. The Seller shall refund the Deposit to the Buyer without interest, and both parties shall have no further claims against each other.  \n5. Delivery of Vehicle and Documents-Upon full payment and completion of the sale, the Seller shall deliver to the Buyer all available keys, remote controls, service or maintenance records, owner’s manuals, and other documents in the Seller’s possession relating to the Vehicle.  \n6. Condition of Vehicle Prior to Handover-The Seller shall take reasonable care to preserve the condition of the Vehicle and retain all existing accessories until the handover date, subject to ordinary wear and tear.  \n7. Transfer of Ownership-The Seller shall complete the ownership transfer of the Vehicle to the Buyer through the LTA’s prescribed process within seven (7) calendar days from the handover date, provided that the Buyer has made full payment and completed all necessary formalities.  \n8. Acknowledgement of Private Sale-The parties acknowledge that this is a private sale between individuals and not a transaction in the course of business.
