The courts and VCAT operate independently of direction from executive government.\nTo support the independence of Victoria’s courts and the tribunal, our administrative services and facilities are provided by a statutory body corporate: Court Services Victoria (CSV). See page 64.\nAbout this report\nVCAT must give the Attorney-General of Victoria an annual report before 30 September each year, as required under the VCAT Act.\nThis report is primarily prepared for the Attorney-General and Parliament of Victoria.
