Demonstrates safe work habits, efficient use of time , and appropriate use of vehicles and equipment in performance of maintenance duties.  \nMajor Duties and Responsibilities:  \n• Perform various mowing, trimming and other maintenance at the city cemetery and other municipal grounds.  \n• Perform various manual labor tasks that include shoveling, raking, trimming, carrying heavy loads, bending, climbing and lifting.  \n• Operates a variety of equipment, including light to heavy-duty trucks; various excavation equipment, street patching equipment, mowers, aerial lifts, and other power equipment used in the department.  \n• Assists street, water/sewer, gas and building department, as needed.  \n• Snow and ice treatment and removal.  \n• The position is generally a 40-hour per week, full-time, non-exempt position.
