Papers included within the review were considered to be of moderate to good quality. Key findings related to carers’ experiences of seeking information, a lack of knowledge of HD amongst professionals, and the availability and accessibility of services. Implications for future research and the limitations of the review are discussed.\n\nPaper 2 is an empirical study exploring the experiences of spouses of individuals with HD, with a particular focus on identity, the relationship and the impact on family life. Data was analysed using Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Participants experienced a transition from spouse to carer, losing their own identity within their caring role and experiencing changes in sexual intimacy, roles and responsi","cbCaipJSo0IKXoCY","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaipJSo0IKXoCY","docx",6083413,"English","# Thesis Abstract\n# Paper 1: Literature Review\n## Abstract\n# Introduction\n## Method\n## Results\n## Discussion\n## Conclusion\n# References\n# Appendices\n# Paper 2: Empirical Paper\n## Abstract\n## Introduction\n## Materials and Methods\n## Results\n## Discussion\n## Conclusion\n# References\n# Appendices\n# Paper 3: Executive Summary Paper\n## Acknowledgments\n## Background\n## Method\n## Findings\n## Discussion\n## References","[{\"question\":\"What is the overall focus of the thesis?\",\"answer\":\"The thesis investigates how family and informal caregivers experience services while supporting individuals with Huntington’s Disease, combining literature review, empirical analysis, and an accessible executive summary.\"},{\"question\":\"What methods are used across the three papers?\",\"answer\":\"Paper 1 uses a systematic literature review of published studies on carers’ experiences of services.
