Click on “Home” in upper left-hand corner and there will be a drop-down box for “Managers” that answers a lot of FAQ’s and includes templates. \n􀁸 MEA Optional Days are October 17-20. The holiday optional attendance is Dec 23 – 26. Make sure your team knows this information. \n􀁸 Meetings cannot be held in the rink from 9/20-10/9 . This includes no meetings in hallways as other tryouts are still ongoing. Hopefully the weather will be OK for a parking lot meeting, if needed. If your team would like to book the Dakotah conference room, you can book that through Justin Graber. Please note your team will be charged for its use. \n􀁸 Create a schedule of volunteers for team hours or delegate this to the volunteer coordinator. See volunteer section below and visit manager guide for role descriptions. \n􀁸 Make sure you and your team’s locker room monitors have safesport and background checks completed. Coaches are monitored separately and not your responsibility. You will receive a separate email from Colleen with how to check this. \n􀁸 Check out the traveling parent meeting document on [plsha.com](plsha.com) by going to About then the Board page. \nTournaments \n􀁸 Communicate with tournament directors and give them your contact information (otherwise they probably have Troy Christopherson as their contact person), and make sure they have received our registration fee. If you are trying to add a tournament, get in touch with Troy or Colleen. We have to make sure these tournaments are sanctioned by USA Hockey. If you attend a tournament that is not, we can be fined. \n􀁸 Please email Ariel Funches and Katie Hadenfeldt pictures of Tournament winners. They will post 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Consolation Bracket places. Pictures should be clear and contain the team on the ice or off the ice and contain no edits (no text, graphics, etc) . They prefer to have them with the trophy if at all possible. In your email, please list the name of the tournament, your team name and the level (Example: Cottage Grove Pumpkin Bash Champions, PL PWB1 Gold) . They prefer email as it's easier to track and upload from email. Ariel posts to [plsha.com](plsha.com) and Katie handles social \nmedia. Approximately 3 weeks after pictures are taken, Sports Star will email parents a link to their player’s photos and an online ordering portal. Parents will be able to order AFTER they see how the pictures turn out. Pictures will be shipped directly to parents. Please understand that there will be kids that miss these photos. A lot of time goes into scheduling these and trying to make sure the 24+teams have times that make sense. Please do your best to not request changes. It creates a ripple effect for all the teams. Also, the group photos will be live, so if your player or coach is not there, they cannot be added later. They can go to a makeup if they want individuals or to be included in the panoramic photos.
