While this serves as a template, you may create your own document in any format for detailing your own personal trading plan and guiding documents for your trading strategies - this is meant to serve only as a guide and you can customize as needed.\n1. MY WHY\nWhy are you trading and not doing something else? It helps to tie back to your WHY to provide a solid foundation for the good days alongside the bad days and stay motivated.\n2. MY GOALS\nThese can be financial (money per day/week) or based on percent growth of your account. They can also be educational or other specific, measurable goals to be achieved from your plan and trading activities.\n3. MY CAPITAL AND RISK RULES\nHow much capital do you have to dedicate to your trading activities and how do you manage risk? How much do you risk per trade and how do you define that? How do you convert that into shares or contracts purchased?\n4. MY PERSONALITY (STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES)\nWhat makes you uniquely suited for long-term success in the trading arena? Background? Education? Prior Experiences? Are you Risk-Seeking or Cautious? Other factors of your personality are important to detail so that you select the right risk and trading style/strategy/tactics for you, not something that works for someone else with a different personality than you.\n5. MY SPECIFIC TRADING EDGE AND TACTICS\nThis will be your largest section and details WHAT you trade (product), what TIMEFRAME or type of trader (swing/intraday/hybrid?) and HOW you define a trading edge, what scanning tactics you use, how to enter a trade, how to manage a trade, how to set an initial stop (if applicable), how to set a profit target (money? percentage? time?), how to exit a trade either at the target or stop or with a specific number of days remaining until option expiration, and various other specific factors about what makes a perfect trade from start to finish. This should be your most detailed section that you can hand to another trader and they'll quickly be able to \"follow your recipe\" or rules to trade just like you because you were very detailed in your specific strategy.\nYou can add various specific trading styles or techniques here to make a broader trading document rather than having to complete the steps 1-4 in a completely separate trading document if you wish to have a single document rather than multiple smaller trading plans.\n6. MY TRADE REVIEW AND JOURNAL/DOCUMENTS\nThis is the section where you review your trading performance often at the end of the day (intraday trader) or end of week/month (swing traders) to make sure your trade outcomes are based on you following your rules under live conditions of uncertainty and not making \"unforced\" errors such as emotional decisions to enter early or move stops or close positions before your trading plan details you do so. The goal is to identify and model good trading behavior (following rules) with ideal outcomes so you can replicate them and them to become \"second nature\" and also spot inefficiencies or errors quickly so you can address and correct them and not continue to make similar mistakes with similar trades/situations in the future.\n7. MY DAILY AND WEEKLY ROUTINE\nThis will be different for every trader but it details your daily activities such as when you awake, when you are at the trading desk, when you are scanning, watching classes/videos/daily coaching sessions, trading, reviewing, managing, game planning for the next day/week, or any other sort of specific steps you take during the day for your trading activities and review.\n8. ADDITIONAL INFO FOR MY PLAN\nThis also may be as large as you wish in your plan. Here you detail any vital information you haven't yet covered in a prior","cbCaibDwfOSoMiGm","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaibDwfOSoMiGm","docx",869187,"English","# Trading Plan Template\n## My Why\n## My Goals\n## My Capital and Risk Rules\n## My Personality (Strengths/Weaknesses)\n## My Specific Trading Edge and Tactics\n## My Trade Review and Journal/Documents\n## My Daily and Weekly Routine\n## Additional Info for My Plan","[{\"question\":\"How does the template help define the reason for trading?\",\"answer\":\"It asks for your “MY WHY,” linking motivation and commitment through both good and bad trading periods.\"},{\"question\":\"What information should be documented in capital and risk rules?\",\"answer\":\"It specifies how much capital to allocate, how to manage risk, the amount risked per trade, how risk is defined, and how that translates into shares or contracts.\"},{\"question\":\"What does the template recommend for reviewing and journaling trades?\",\"answer\":\"It emphasizes end-of-day or end-of-week/month reviews to ensure results come from following rules, identifying emotional or “unforced” errors and improving repeatable behavior.\"}]","Trading Plan Template - Eight Steps to Creating Your Trading Template - Guide | DOCX"]
