This is episode number 9, and today I want to tell you how I know what I'm going to be promoting--and even how I have a pretty good idea how much I'm going to earn--every single month of the year... and how you can do the same with just a simple marketing calendar. \nI'll meet you on the other side of this lovely intro... \nHey guys, and welcome back to the Tiny Course Empire podcast. \nBefore we dig into today's topic, you'll find the show notes for this episode [at](at TinyCourseEmpire.com/9)[ ](at TinyCourseEmpire.com/9)[TinyCourseEmpire.com/9](at TinyCourseEmpire.com/9) . I have a downloadable template on that page if you want to follow along and build out your own marketing calendar. \nAlso, I'd love for you to leave me a rating and review on Apple Podcasts, because it helps other people find the show. Based on the download numbers I'm seeing, we're doing a pretty good job of getting the word out, so I appreciate your help to keep the momentum going. \nAnd of course, feel free to share with anyone you know who can use some practical and budget-friendly business-building advice. \nAnd now... let's talk marketing calendars. \nA few days ago a friend of mine emailed and asked if I follow a strict email schedule with all of my promotions. You guys, It's like she doesn't know me at all! Of COURSE I have a system. \nIn fact, just last week I sat down and in about 30 minutes I mapped out exactly what my marketing calendar is going to look like for the next 15 months--so all the way through the end of 2022. \nAnd since it's a rinse-and-repeat system, I will literally spend about 30 minutes at the end of 2022 filling it out for 2023. \nNow, let me tell you why I do this, because I know some of you are probably thinking, \"But Cindy, I like tobe able to just go with the flow, and react to whatever comes up. \" \nListen. That's fine, and this system leaves room for that, too. It's not so rigid that I have to say no to a great idea because I've already committed to emailing for something else next July 12. That's not at all what I'm doing here. \nWhat I am doing is making sure I have the big rocks in place so that I can easily see where other promotions can fit. And by big rocks, what I'm talking about is my own products and offers. \nBut I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start at the beginning and I'll walk you through how I plan my calendar, and how you can do the same for your tiny course business. \nThere are two things you have to know before we dive in. Thing number one is that this calendar is my email marketing system. Email makes up about 95% of my marketing strategy. I don't really use social--although I am experimenting with that as a mentioned on last week's episode--but right now, it's mostly email, so you're going to hear me talk about subscribers and how many emails I send and some other details. \nIt doesn't really matter what marketing channels you use though, this same system will work whether you're using social media or email or I guess theoretically, even if you're going door to door in your neighborhood. It's completely channel agnostic, and will actually accommodate several different channels all at the same time. \nBut for me, it's email. \nSo that's thing one. Thing two that you need to know is that my personal tiny course empire includes dozens of courses and products. That may not be your model. Maybe you're just getting started and you only have one or two or three courses. Or maybe your tiny course model is different, and instead of creating multiple courses you prefer to focus on just two or three that you run live at different times of the year. \nThe point is, you don't have to be running a business that looks exactly like mine for this marketing calendar to work for you. You can and should take what I'm sharing here and use the pieces that work for y","cbCaiorrrwmtAFu6","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiorrrwmtAFu6","pdf",148465,9,"English","# Episode 9: Boost your sales with my simple marketing calendar (template included)\n## Marketing calendar purpose and flexibility\n## Two key planning foundations: email-first system and offer inventory\n## Background story and why the four-week rotation was adopted\n## How to map promotions and estimate earnings","[{\"question\":\"What is the main purpose of the marketing calendar in this episode?\",\"answer\":\"It helps Cindy know what she will promote each month and get a solid sense of how much she may earn, using a simple system that repeats over time.\"},{\"question\":\"What are the two foundational things Cindy says listeners should know before planning?\",\"answer\":\"The calendar is her email marketing system, and she builds it around her own products and offers (though listeners can adapt to their own course setup).\"},{\"question\":\"How does Cindy handle flexibility if an unexpected opportunity appears?\",\"answer\":\"The system is structured enough to keep the major promotions in place, but it still leaves room to fit other ideas without fully abandoning planned outreach.\"}]","Tiny Course Empire - Episode 9 - Boost your sales with my simple marketing calendar | PDF",1789218994]
