Working under the guidance of the Technical Resource Manager, technicians play a vital role in delivering a high-quality experience for learners, tutors, and visiting professionals. This includes maintaining kit, research and development, setting up studio spaces, supporting extracurricular activity, and ensuring safe and efficient workflows across all sites.  \nKey Responsibilities  \n1. Resource Support & Setup  \n● Prepare and reset studio spaces for timetabled sessions, short courses, workshops, and events.  \n● Manage day to day bookings and access to site-specific resources (eg studios, darkroom, print facilities) .  \n● Monitor and manage cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of these managed facilities at all times.  \n● Assist tutors and learners with setting up equipment, materials, or technical resources as required.  \n2. Equipment & Kit Management  \n● Oversee the booking, check-out, and return of equipment using internal systems.  \n● Ensure all kit is maintained in good working order and report any issues to the Resource Manager.  \n● Carry out minor repairs, troubleshooting, or first-line maintenance where appropriate.  \n● Maintain accurate inventory records and asset registers in collaboration with the team.  \n● Occasional routine IT maintenance tasks under direction from the Technical Resource Manager/ IT Systems Manager  \n● Carry out research to inform potential purchasing under direction from Technical Resource Manager.  \n3.
