This is part of the UK Government’s stated commitment to making the UK financial system the “greenest in the world”. \nThis report provides members the opportunity to find out more about the work of the Trustee in relation to climate change , following the Taskforce on Climate related Financial Disclosures (TCFD 1) framework. It describes how the Trustee has identified, assessed, and managed climate-related risks and opportunities during the Scheme year, and is published alongside the annual report and accounts. \nWe hope you find it informative and would welcome any feedback. \n1 The Financial Stability Board (FSB) created the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in 2015 to improve and increase reporting of climaterelated financial information. Following the release of the Task Force’s 2023 Status Report, upon request of the FSB, the TCFD has fulfilled its remit and been disbanded. \nContents \nExecutive Summary......................................................................................................................................... 3 \nIntroduction to the Scheme ............................................................................................................................ 4 \nDB Sections ............................................................................................................................................... 4 \nDC Section................................................................................................................................................. 5 \nTrustee Governance ........................................................................................................................................ 5 \nDB Investment Committee......................................................................................................................... 6 \nDC Committee ........................................................................................................................................... 6 \nOther parties’ and advisors’ roles .................................................................................................................. 7 \nNature and frequency of monitoring .............................................................................................................. 9 \nRegular reviews ......................................................................................................................................... 9 \nLess frequent reviews ................................................................................................................................ 9 \nOrganisation Chart..................................................................................................................................... 9 \nStrategy – Identification & assessment of climate-related risks & opportunities .................................. 10 \nDB Sections ............................................................................................................................................. 10 \nDC Section............................................................................................................................................... 11 \nReview of sponsor’s exposure to climate risk and opportunities................................................................. 12 \nClimate scenario analysis............................................................................................................................. 13 \nDB Sections .........................................................................................................","cbCaijCt5Ym7hSAx","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaijCt5Ym7hSAx","pdf",1098425,34,"English","# Executive Summary\n# Introduction to the Scheme\n# Trustee Governance\n# Strategy – Identification & assessment of climate-related risks & opportunities\n# Risk Management\n# Metrics\n# Targets","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of this climate change report for scheme members?\",\"answer\":\"It helps members understand the Trustee’s work on climate change, including how climate-related risks and opportunities are identified, assessed, and managed during the Scheme year under the TCFD framework.\"},{\"question\":\"How does the report explain the scope of climate governance within the scheme?\",\"answer\":\"It describes Trustee governance and committee oversight, including roles linked to the DB Investment Committee and the DC Committee, plus monitoring responsibilities and review cadence.\"},{\"question\":\"Which climate risk methods and disclosure elements are covered?\",\"answer\":\"The report covers identification and assessment processes, tools used to manage climate risks and opportunities, review of investment managers’ climate practice, climate scenario analysis, and disclosure elements such as metrics and targets.\"}]","TCFD Report 2025 - Climate Change Report - 2025 overview | PDF",1791848980]
