Work involves supporting District users, monitoring and reviewing systems to ensure correct operation, and helping users take maximum advantage of the data.  \nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS  \n• Educates users about productive use of these systems through individual and small group formal and informal sessions including coordination of vendor-provided training as appropriate.  \n• Configures, monitors, and maintains in-house and cloud-based line of business systems to agreed service levels and scope of function.  \n• Introduces and integrates new technologies into the existing data center environment.  \n• Oversees and develops use of a CMMS for corrective repairs, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and inventory control in accordance with District Asset Management Program policies and procedures.  \n• Create and maintain integration and automation between multiple databases, including SQL database imports, queries, reports, etc.  \n• Employs application and operating system (OS) patches, gathers and analyses debugging information, and coordinates support escalations with vendors.  \n• Performs routine to complex technical work on custom reports and minor enhancements and integrations between systems using industry standard programming languages, tools, and frameworks.  \n• Plans and leads projects to: enhance and upgrade existing systems; deploy new  \nsystems and migrate from old ones; and coordinate with participants across all departments.  \n• Introduces and integrates new technologies into the existing data center environment.  \n• Assists in procuring of hardware and software, in preparing requests for proposals, and in evaluating received proposals. Evaluates products and technologies and makes recommendations for other purchases in accordance with District  \nprocurement policies.
