This also includes looking forward to all of M-NASR’s exciting summertime activities including favorites such as summer camp, the End-of-Summer Party, Special Olympics Summer Games and movies in the park, just to name a few. As much as I love promoting all the amazing opportunities M-NASR has to offer you for the upcoming season, I’d actually like to use this space to look back on what has already been an amazing year and congratulate the M-NASR team. \n M-NASR was recognized for achieving its’ Distinguished Accreditation status for the first time! Less than 15% of Illinois park and recreation agencies achieve this recognition. \n Lisa Barrera, Superintendent of Recreation, received Professional of the Year Award through the Illinois Therapeutic Recreation Section at this year’s state conference. \n The Lincolnwood Chamber of Commerce awarded M-NASR as its Non-Profit of the Year. \nM-NASR has a fantastic team of staff! I am so fortunate to get to work with this group everyday, and we are so lucky to get to work with you.
