PAHS students have been sharing their stories, dreams, plans, and successes with our community for over 80 years. If you choose to participate, you’ll be creating a digital scrapbook and completing a survey that highlights your high school career. Scholarship Notebooks and survey data are distributed to donors in our community. \nYour donors represent a wide array of the community and offer scholarships that represent their mission, business, group activity, and/or career field. Each group will independently select their scholarship recipients. Your contributions will give our donors the information they need to select their candidates. \nSHOULD I MAKE A SCHOLARSHIP NOTEBOOK? \nIf you plan to continue your education beyond high school, completing a Scholarship Notebook is a great tool to help fund your future plans. Eligible students should be planning to attend an accredited university, college, or trade school/program. \nLast year, over 85% of students who submitted a Scholarship Notebook received an award from our community of donors. While we cannot guarantee that you will receive a scholarship , the community makes great effort to help as many students as possible. Each year we continue to grow the program and seek out new donors and scholarships. \nAt the back of this guide, you will find a list of last year’s awarded scholarships and a summary of what they represent. While scholarship requirements and availability will change over time, this list will give you an idea of which scholarships you may qualify for. We hope this will help you your decision easier, but we like to encourage students to create a notebook and shoot for the moon! \nReady to continue, or want to learn more? Join us in the Google Classroom! (Code:65rhbhfp) \nTimeline of Events \n• Letter of Recommendation Requests DUE-Friday, December 19th \n• Transcripts Available – Approximately January 31st \n• Scholarship Notebooks DUE-Monday, February 16th at 11:59 pm \n• Scholarship Awards Night – Wednesday, May 20th at 6:00 pm \n• Thank You Cards DUE-Wednesday, June 3rd \nThe time you put into creating your notebook will vary, but being prepared & keeping organized will help keep it low. Most students can plan for 6-12 hours of work spread out over a few months. \nFor the survey, you can fill out the optional worksheet at the end of this guide. The questions represent all of the questions from last year’s survey. There may be a few small updates if needed, but will primarily remain the same. \nTip: Make a new folder in your Google Drive titled “Scholarship Notebook” and save everything there. This will save you a lot of time and headache! \nYour notebook will consist of the following sections: \n1. Cover Page \n2. Table of Contents \n3. Personal Information \n4. Statement of Purpose \n5. Awards, Achievements, Test Scores, and More! \n6. Letters of Recommendation \n7. Transcripts \nTEMPLATE \nWe have created a template in Google Slides for you to use. Please refer to the Scholarship Notebook Google Classroom for a link to this document. Your final submission must be easy to read and accurate. Donors generally prefer the use of the template, but it is not required. \n1-COVER PAGE \nThis is the first page your donors will see, so it’s wise to make a good impression! \nWHAT NOT TO DO! \n• Brightly colored background \n• Old, poor quality picture \n• Difficult to read \n• Unnecessary information \n• Incorrect information \n• Poor formatting \n• Misspelled words \nA SIMPLE DESIGN \n• Clean background \n• Better quality picture \n• Relevant picture \n• Easy to read \n• Professional \n2-TABLE OF CONTENTS \nThis page will be one of the last you change. Once you’ve completed all pages in the template , you will simply need to change the page numbers (if necessary. ) Double-check the page numbers at the bottom of each page to make sure everything is accurate. \n3-PER","cbCaira35EXVevon","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaira35EXVevon","pdf",204927,8,"English","# Scholarship Notebook Overview\n## Should I Make a Scholarship Notebook?\n## Timeline of Events\n## Scholarship Notebook Sections\n# Template and Submission Guidance\n## Google Slides Template\n## Cover Page Design Guidelines\n## Table of Contents\n## Personal Information\n## Statement of Purpose\n## Optional Worksheet and Tips","[{\"question\":\"Who is this guide for and what is the purpose of the Scholarship Notebook?\",\"answer\":\"This guide is for students and parents participating in the Scholarship Notebooks 2026.
