The committee may decide to delegate certain elements of the process (through establishing a strategic planning subcommittee, engaging a consultant, etc. ) but it must maintain oversight and provide input.  \nThe Strategic Planning Process  \nThis process is clarified in detail in Linkwest’s Strategic Planning Handbook. It is recommended that Centre acquire this resource before commencing the process.  \nStrategic Planning Support Package  \nThe support options outlined below are based on the Project Planning template. The aim of the package is to support the Centre through the strategic planning process to the delivery of a relevant, inspirational, and practical strategic plan. The package includes targeted support addressing specific steps of the strategic planning process, workshop facilitation, consultation, research and analysis, and drafting of reports and recommendations.  \nWhile the Centre can select a combination of the support options outlined below, some of the options are not available independently. I.e. Linkwest is not able to deliver Step 9 (drafting of the strategic plan) without being involved in any other aspects of the strategic planning. Linkwest will consult with the Centre about support with specific parts of the process and make recommendations based on the Centre’s specific requirements and context.  \nSummary of support:  \n• 16 hours prep – including pre-reading, preparation of material, survey analysis, etc.  \n• 18 hours facilitation of workshops  \n• 28 hours development of outputs – including reports, survey development and analysis, draft strategic plan, etc.  \nThe facilitation is priced at Linkwest’s standard customised training rates. The full package includes 62 hours of support at $7,677 . Full members are provided a 25% discount ($1 ,919) and are offered the full package for $5,758 .  \nSupport can be delivered online, via Zoom, or at the Centre (where possible) .
