Instructions recommend using a soft measuring tape or twine, avoiding stretchy materials to keep measurements accurate. Step-by-step guidance places the tape slightly above the ears, with roughly 3/4 inch above the ear line, not pulled too tight. Includes a conversion table from standard hat sizes to measured head circumference in inches and offers contact options for sizing help.","Below is a chart of standard hat sizes. Hats are unisex and as such are not defined as ladies or mens sizes. When you are measuring your head to determine what size hat you should order please follow the instructions carefully. It is best to have someone else help you measure your head. If you have a western hat that fits you well and have the brand and size, you can call the store and we can recommend a hat size for you. It is best if you measure your head and give us those measurements also. \n1 \n\n| Use either a soft measuring tape or some twine. Do not use yarn or something that has a lot of stretch to the material as that will not be good for an accurate measurement of your hat size. | |\n| --- | --- |\n| | |\n\n2 \nHave a friend place the measuring tape or twine slightly above your ears where you hat will sit on your head. Approximately 3/4 of an inch. Do not pull too tightly as \nyou want your hat to fit snug, not tight. \nTIP: When measuring pull the tape snugly around your head, then loosely, snugly and loosely again, until you can determine from the comfort of the tape how you would like your hat to fit. Measurement can be taken in increments of 1/8”. \n\n| STANDARD HAT SIZE | EQUALS | HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE MEASURED IN INCHES | | |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| 6 3/8 | = | 20” | 20 1/8” | 20 1/4” |\n| 6 1/2 | = | 20 3/8” | 20 1/2” | 20 5/8” |\n| 6 5/8 | = | 20 3/4” | 20 7/8” | 21” |\n| 6 3/4 | = | 21 1/8” | 21 1/4” | 21 3/8” |\n| 6 7/8 | = | 21 1/2” | 21 5/8” | 21 3/4” |\n| 7 | = | 21 7/8” | 22” | 22 1/8” |\n| 7 1/8 | = | 22 1/4” | 22 3/8” | 22 1/2” |\n| 7 1/4 | = | 22 5/8” | 22 3/4” | 22 7/8” |\n| 7 3/8 | = | 23” | 23 1/8” | 23 1/4” & 23 3/8” |\n| 7 1/2 | = | 23 1/2” | 23 5/8” | 23 3/4” |\n| 7 5/8 | = | 23 7/8” | 24” | 24 1/8” |\n| 7 3/4 | = | 24 1/4” | 24 3/8” | 24 1/2” |\n| 7 7/8 | = | 24 5/8” | 24 3/4” | 24 7/8” |\n\nHAVE HAT QUESTIONS? \nContact us at 405.232.4287 or email us at [orders@shortyshattery.com](orders@shortyshattery.com)[ ](orders@shortyshattery.com)and let’s talk about what size hat you are looking for!","cbCainB0iVtyq60q","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCainB0iVtyq60q","pdf",165792,8,"English","en",105,"# Measuring Your Head for a Hat\n## Tools and accuracy\n## Placement and fit guidance\n# Standard Hat Size Conversion Table\n## Sizes and head circumference in inches\n# Questions and Contact","[{\"question\":\"What should you use to measure your head for a hat size?\",\"answer\":\"Use a soft measuring tape or some twine.
