The amendment, if approved, would extend the agreement for another five (5) years, and grant the City of Indio use of the software for that term. The cost of the SaaS agreement would be $542,408 per year for a total of $2,712,040 for the lifetime of the agreement.  \nBACKGROUND INFORMATION:  \nIn May of 2019 the Indio City Council approved the initial five-year SaaS agreement between the City of Indio and Tyler Technologies for implementation and use of Tyler Munis (since renamed Enterprise ERP) . December of 2019, City Council approved an amendment to the SaaS agreement to include Utility Billing. In November of 2021, the City Council approved a second amendment to the SaaS agreement to include Tyler EnerGov (since renamed Tyler Enterprise Permitting and Licensing) .
