Using a systematic process of identification, assessment and control, relevant safety risks can eliminate or minimise the risk of untoward outcome for the event and the organiser. \nPlanning the event, it is important to remember that each event is different; from the type and number of people attending, to the nature of the event. \nGood planning means being prepared well in advance and ensuring that safety is a priority throughout the event, including initial pre-event set up ( bump in) and dismantle (bump out) . \nThese Event Safety and Administrative Checklists will provide a guide to many of the issues tobe considered when organising your event. Depending on the nature of your event some of these issues may require more detailed assessment and provision of information to the Shire of Cocos (Keeling) Islands Executive Management prior to going ahead. \nThe completed and signed checklists with additional risk control plans must be provided to the Shire at least 14 days prior to the event to allow sufficient time for review and \nauthorisation. \nEvent Details \n\n| Event Name: | | |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Event Description | | |\n| Campus: | | |\n| Proposed Venue or Location (description) | | |\n| Location Address: | | |\n| Proposed Event Date/s: | From: | To: |\n| | | |\n| Estimated attendance: | | |\n| Total Attendance (multi-day events): | | |\n\nEvent Organiser Details \n\n| Group: | | | |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Address: | | | |\n| Main Contact Person: | | | |\n| Position: | | | |\n| Phone: | | Fax: | |\n| Mobile | | Email | |\n\nKey Event Contacts Complete with all relevant contacts-internal and external \n\n| Name | Role | Responsibility | Contact details |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | Event Manager ( if different from above) | Overall responsibility for event | |\n| | Health & Safety | Risk assessments, legal compliance, fire points, site inspections | |\n| | | | |\n| | | | |\n\nOther Key Contacts \nSuppliers \nE.g.: marquees, catering etc \n\n| Organisation | Contact name | Service | Contact details | Notes |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | | | | |\n| | | | | |\n| | | | | |\n\nAuthorities (fire, police, first aid etc) \n\n| Organisation | Contact name | Service | Contact details | Notes |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | | | | |\n| | | | | |\n| | | | | |\n| | | | | |\n\nArtists / Entertainment \n\n| Organisation | Contact name | Service | Contact details | Notes |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | | | | |\n| | | | | |\n| | | | | |\n\nVenue Contact Details-Internal and External Venues \n\n| Name: | Email: |\n| --- | --- |\n| Phone: | Mobile: |\n| Venue Contact Date | Venue contact method: |\n| Venue Paperwork sent: | Venue hire response: |\n| Additional requirements/negotiations: | |\n\nEvent Task List \nProduction Schedule event: PRIOR TO EVENT DAY \n\n| Date | Task | Start | Finish | Resources/ who | Notes | In Hand | Complete |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| | | | | | | | |\n| | | ","cbCaiaSoxew8g9yM","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiaSoxew8g9yM","pdf",602675,"English","# Legal obligations, planning and preparation\n## Consultation with stakeholders\n## Event details\n## Event organiser details\n## Key event contacts\n## Other key contacts\n## Event task list\n## Event run sheet\n## Event costs\n## Signage/event marketing\n## Public liability insurance","[{\"question\":\"What legal duty of care do event organisers have under the WH\\u0026S Act?\",\"answer\":\"Event organisers must provide a safe working environment and ensure public safety.
