volunteers to assemble the 83 piece structure ofplayground equipment at the Mill Race Park on Friday, August 28.\u003Cbr>A timline of how the day progressed goes like this:\u003Cbr>8:30 a.m. - Volunteers tore the paper off of the equipment\u003Cbr>10:30 a.m. -Men installed tower poles\u003Cbr>1:00 p.m. -Parts of play equipment were added\u003Cbr>3:00 p.m. - Slides were in place and work on the tower began\u003Cbr>5:00 p.m. -Work was completed, volunteers cleaned the area and placed signs around the equipment.\u003Cbr>The equipment, purchased for $50,000 from Crouch Recreation, includes a large tower with several slides, ladders, monkey bars, etc.“Children need to wait until the rubber mulch has been laid down before they begin to play,” according to Atkinson Community Foundation\u003Cbr>Chairperson Monique Johnson.“The mulch under the old swingsand monkey bars was donated by NPPD, and the weed barrier under the old playground was donated by Wettlaufer Landscapes,” Johnson said.\u003Cbr>On Thursday the equipment was unloaded by these volunteers: Brandon Jelinek, Eddie Fredrick, Mason Hale, Kevin Murphy, Brad Pfeifer, Dave Schaaf, Marvin Smoot, Nicky Cadwallader,
