Experiments follow the scientific method and are designed to investigate one measureable variable; other variables are controlled. Data is thoroughly analyzed using statistical methods. The best projects include original questions, to which the answer is not presently known, or new experimental methods. \nStudy: Analysis of, and possibly collections of, data using accepted methodologies from the natural, social, biological, or health sciences. This includes studies involving human subjects, biology field studies, data mining, observation and pattern recognition in physical and/or sociobehavioural data. The study correlates information from a variety of peer-reviewed publications and from systematic observations, and reveals significant new information, or original solutions to problems. Quantitative studies should include appropriate analysis of some significant variable(s) using arithmetic, statistical, or graphical methods. Qualitative and/or mixed methods studies should include a detailed description of the procedures and/or techniques applied to gather and/or analyze the data (e.g. interviewing, observational fieldwork, constant comparative method, content","cbCail0G9jVNyLQp","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCail0G9jVNyLQp","pdf",503512,25,"English","# Science Fair Project Descriptions\n## Experiment\n## Study\n## Innovation\n# Science Fair Outline & Information\n## Purpose\n## Timeline/Registration\n## Groups\n## Mentorship\n## Getting Started\n# Science Fair Project Plan\n## Project Title\n## Investigative Question/Purpose\n## Resources\n## Literature Review/Critical Analysis\n## Reflection (Part I)\n## Methods\n## Reflection (Part II)\n## Additional: Fieldwork\n# Science Fair: Final Report and Reflection\n# Science Fair Display Guidelines\n## Backboard Materials\n## Backboard Approaches\n# Science Fair Presentation Guidelines\n## Preparation\n## Speaking/Presenting Criteria– The \"Do's and Don'ts\"\n# Appendix","[{\"question\":\"What kinds of science fair projects does the package describe?\",\"answer\":\"It describes three types: Experiment, Study, and Innovation, with brief definitions and expectations for each category.\"},{\"question\":\"What is the core purpose of a science fair study project in this guide?\",\"answer\":\"The guide emphasizes developing real science skills through an independent, inquiry-based investigation that addresses an important scientific question or problem.\"},{\"question\":\"What main sections are included in the science fair project plan for study projects?\",\"answer\":\"The plan includes project title, investigative question/purpose, resources and referencing, literature review/critical analysis, methods, reflection (Part I and Part II), and an optional fieldwork component.\"}]","Science Fair Resource Package - Teacher and Student Edition - Study Package | PDF",1789196714,9]
