During this week an important Islamic celebration will be taking place, observed by over one billion Muslims around the world. This celebration is called : Eid al-Fitr & also called the \"Festival of Breaking the Fast\" or Lesser Eid, or simply Eid,is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. This religious Eid is the only day in the month of Shawwal during which Muslims are not permitted to fast. The date for the start of any lunar Hijri month varies based on when the new moon is sighted by local religious authorities, so the day of celebration varies by locality. The holiday is known under various other names in different languages and countries around the world. \nAccording to the lunar calendar, which we follow, Eid-ul-Al-Fitr (the first of two Islamic celebrations) takes place this year on Thursday May 13 th , 2021 \n. \nThe celebration holds tremendous value and we as Muslims want our children to carry such values in their lives. It is our hope that our children will grow in a community where their belief in God is encouraged. \nPlease excuse Muslim students from their daily classes on Thursday May 13 th , 2021 as we plan to celebrate this joyous occasion together as a family. We hope that by helping our children to value their family and community and practice their faith, they will, with God's help, be well rounded and grounded individuals. I hope that you will understand and support this important cause. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at the email below. Thank you for your understanding. I truly appreciate your efforts in this matter. \nPeace be with you, \nSincerely, \nTeam @ CENTRAL MOSQUE OF CHARLESTON","cbCaiuyuCqrCuaFy","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiuyuCqrCuaFy","pdf",70852,"English","# Letter Request for Student Excusal\n## Eid al-Fitr Significance\n## Requested Absence Date\n## Closing and Contact","[{\"question\":\"Which date does the letter request students be excused from classes?\",\"answer\":\"The letter requests excusal on Thursday, May 13, 2021.\"},{\"question\":\"What celebration is the letter referring to?\",\"answer\":\"The letter refers to Eid al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan fasting.\"},{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of excusing the students?\",\"answer\":\"The purpose is to allow students to celebrate the occasion together with family and support the practice of their faith and community values.\"}]","School Excuse Letter for Thursday - Eid al-Fitr 2021 | PDF",1789494107]
