The laborer may be cross-trained in other parts of the production processes so they can work where needed.  \nEmployees are responsible for holding themselves and others accountable to company policies, procedures, food safety and quality, and OSHA safety requirements.  \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities  \nThe Production Laborer is responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. See Addendum for descriptions of Production Laborer positions.  \nQualifications & Requirements  \n􀁸 Must be able to communicate in either English 􀁸 Follow all food safety guidelines  \nor Spanish 􀁸 Follow attendance and punctuality rules  \n􀁸 High School Diploma or GED preferred 􀁸 Must work at a pace consistent with the  \n􀁸 Ability to follow instructions and procedures required line speed  \n􀁸 Manual dexterity, good eye-hand coordination, 􀁸 Must be capable of treating all employees with and being able to stand for long periods of time respect and courtesy  \n􀁸 Work effectively in a team 􀁸 Good work ethic  \n􀁸 Legally authorized to work in the United States 􀁸 Ability to lift up to 40lbs  \n􀁸 Excellent attention to detail 􀁸 Ability to work in environment that varies in  \n􀁸 Willing and able to work around various temperatures  \ncleaning chemicals 􀁸 Ability to work a flexible schedule including;  \n􀁸 Must be able to work in a fast-paced nights, weekends, holidays, and possible environment overtime  \n􀁸 Follow all safety guidelines  \nPhysical Requirements:  \nWhile performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel; and is occasionally required to climb, balance, crouch and crawl; is frequently required to push, pull, lift and carry up to 40 pounds; is occasionally required to lift and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds and to exert up to 100 pounds of force; is occasionally required to maintain body balance while ascending or descending ladders or open stairs, and to maintain body equilibrium while bending at the waist or at the knees.  \nThe employee is routinely required to reach with hands and arms; work with the hand or hands in handling, grabbing, holding, or grasping motions and with the fingers in fingering, picking and pinching actions to operate objects, tools or controls. Employee will be subject to repetitive motion of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.  \nWork Environment  \nWork environment may be subject to climate conditions. Environment may be wet and can consist of temperature extremes and excessive noise levels. Employees will be required to adhere to general safety and food safety protocols which may include; wearing smocks, hairnets, beard nets if applicable and will be required to consistently practice the washing of hands. This position consistently works with and around moving parts.
