It outlines potential emergencies, step-by-step response procedures, and the roles and responsibilities of workers during an emergency. The chapter covers pre-emergency planning, emergency alerting and evacuation actions, site equipment and PPE provisions, emergency maps and route planning, decontamination and first aid, and training, critique, and plan update processes. It also addresses coordination with on-site contractors and off-site emergency response organizations and records consultation details.","SAMPLE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN (HASP) \nSource: OSHA. \n11.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN \n(in compliance with 29 CFR 1910. 120(b)(4)(ii)(H) and 29 CFR 1910. 120(l) \nThis is the site-specific emergency response plan. This chapter of the HASP describes potential emergencies at this site, procedures for responding to those emergencies, roles and responsibilities during emergency response, and training that workers must receive in order to follow emergency procedures. This chapter also describes the provisions this site has made to coordinate its emergency response planning with other contractors on site and with off-site emergency response organizations. \nThis emergency response plan is consistent with the requirements of paragraph (l) of HAZWOPER and provides the following site-specific information: \n􀂷 pre-emergency planning \n􀂷 on-site emergency response equipment and PPE \n􀂷 emergency maps: evacuation routes and route to nearest hospital \n􀂷 emergency roles and responsibilities \n􀂷 emergency alerting and evacuation procedures \n􀂷 emergency response procedures \n􀂷 emergency decontamination, medical treatment and first aid \n􀂷 response critique and plan updates \n􀂷 emergency response training \nDuring the development of this emergency response plan, local, state, and federal agency disaster, fire, and emergency response organizations were consulted to ensure that this plan is compatible and integrated with the plans of those organizations. Documentation of the dates of these consultationsand the names of individuals contacted is kept (insert location) . \n11.1 Pre-emergency Planning \nThis site has been evaluated for potential emergency occurrences, based on site hazards, the tasks within the work plan, the building layout, and the ventilation system design and operation. The results of that evaluation are shown in Table 11-1 below. \n\n| Table 11-1 Potential Site Emergencies | | |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Type of Emergency | Source of Emergency | Location of Source |\n| (Identify each of the potential emergencies that may occur onsite. Use a separate row for each type of emergency.) | (Identify the source of each emergency. Be as specific as possible.) | (Identify the location or multiple locations for each emergency. For example, if a chemical is stored in several places, list every location in one row. ) |\n| | | |\n| | | |\n\n11.2 On-Site Emergency Response Equipment \nEmergency procedures may require specialized equipment to facilitate worker rescue, contamination control and reduction, or post-emergency clean-up. Emergency response equipment stocked on this site is listed in Table 11-2. The equipment inventory and storage locations are based on the potential emergencies described in Table 11-1. This equipment inventory is designed to meet on-site emergency response needs and any specialized equipment needs that off-site responders might require because of the hazards at this site. \nAny additional PPE required and stocked for emergency response is also listed in Table 11-2 below. During an emergency, the Emergency Response Coordinator (if you have not included this role, identify the name and/or title of the person with the following responsibility) is responsible for specifying the level of PPE required for emergency response. At a minimum, personal protective equipment used by emergency responders will comply with Chapter 6, Personal Protective Equipment, of this HASP. \nEmergency response equipment is inspected at regular intervals and maintained in good working order. The equipment inventory is replenished as necessary to maintain response capabilities. \n\n| Table 11-2 Emergency Equipment & Emergency PPE | | |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Emergency Equipment | | |\n| Specific Type | Quantity Stocked | Location Stored |\n| (Use a separate row for each type of equipment stored, like 6ft oil pig, or non-sparking shovel) | (insert number) | (insert location) |\n| | | |\n| | | |\n| Emergency PPE | | |\n\n\n| Specific Type | Quan","cbCaick8hg8jEqIU","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaick8hg8jEqIU","pdf",170959,13,"English","en",105,"# 11.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN\n## 11.1 Pre-emergency Planning\n## 11.2 On-Site Emergency Response Equipment\n## 11.3 Emergency Planning Maps\n## 11.4 Emergency Response Options","[{\"question\":\"What does Chapter 11.0 of the HASP cover?\",\"answer\":\"It describes potential emergencies, response procedures, emergency roles and responsibilities, required worker training, and coordination with other contractors and off-site emergency response organizations.\"},{\"question\":\"What is included in pre-emergency planning (11.1)?\",\"answer\":\"The site is evaluated for potential emergency occurrences based on hazards, work-plan tasks, building layout, and ventilation system design and operation; results are shown in Table 11-1.\"},{\"question\":\"Which emergency resources and PPE provisions are addressed in 11.2?\",\"answer\":\"Emergency equipment and emergency PPE stocked on site are listed in Table 11-2, including how the Emergency Response Coordinator specifies PPE levels during an emergency and how equipment is inspected and replenished.\"}]","SAMPLE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN (HASP) - 11.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN | PDF",1790112364,{"code":4,"msg":75,"data":76},"ok",{"site_id":69,"language":68,"slug":77,"title":59,"keywords":78,"description":60,"schema_data":79,"social_meta":135,"head_meta":137,"extra_data":139,"updated_unix":140},"sample-health-and-safety-plan-hasp-110-emergency-response-plan","",{"@graph":80,"@context":134},[81,97,117],{"@type":82,"itemListElement":83},"BreadcrumbList",[84,88,91,94],{"item":85,"name":86,"@type":87,"position":9},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",{"item":89,"name":10,"@type":87,"position":90},"https://docshare.wps.com/template/",2,{"item":92,"name":41,"@type":87,"position":93},"https://docshare.wps.com/template/letters/",3,{"item":95,"name":59,"@type":87,"position":96},"https://docshare.wps.com/template/sample-health-and-safety-plan-hasp-110-emergency-response-plan/354593/",4,{"url":95,"name":59,"@type":98,"image":99,"author":104,"headline":59,"publisher":106,"fileFormat":109,"inLanguage":68,"description":60,"dateModified":110,"datePublished":111,"encodingFormat":109,"isAccessibleForFree":112,"interactionStatistic":113},"DigitalDocument",{"url":100,"@type":101,"width":102,"height":103},"https://docshare.wps.com/thumbnails/sample-health-and-safety-plan-hasp-110-emergency-response-plan/354593.png","ImageObject",442,249,{"name":57,"@type":105},"Person",{"url":85,"name":107,"@type":108},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-10-14","2026-09-22",true,{"@type":114,"interactionType":115,"userInteractionCount":8},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":116},"ViewAction",{"@type":118,"mainEntity":119},"FAQPage",[120,126,130],{"name":121,"@type":122,"acceptedAnswer":123},"What does Chapter 11.0 of the HASP cover?","Question",{"text":124,"@type":125},"It describes potential emergencies, response procedures, emergency roles and responsibilities, required worker training, and coordination with other contractors and off-site emergency response organizations.","Answer",{"name":127,"@type":122,"acceptedAnswer":128},"What is included in pre-emergency planning (11.1)?",{"text":129,"@type":125},"The site is evaluated for potential emergency occurrences based on hazards, work-plan tasks, building layout, and ventilation system design and operation; results are shown in Table 11-1.",{"name":131,"@type":122,"acceptedAnswer":132},"Which emergency resources and PPE provisions are addressed in 11.2?",{"text":133,"@type":125},"Emergency equipment and emergency PPE stocked on site are listed in Table 11-2, including how the Emergency Response Coordinator specifies PPE levels during an emergency and how equipment is inspected and replenished.","https://schema.org",{"og:url":95,"og:type":136,"og:title":59,"og:site_name":107,"og:description":60},"article",{"robots":138,"canonical":95},"index,follow",{"doc_id":55,"site_id":69},1790971719]
