The process begins by completing one face, then addresses five possible conditions with the corresponding move sets. Next, the cube is used to form a T-shape and then progress to complete two layers, including turning the cube upside down and applying one or more methods. You will at some point encounter one of the following five conditions. \nFollow the set of moves that apply. \nTIP. Hold the cube in the same position all the \ntime! (silly, but it's all to easy to change the position of your cube as you start to rotate the different planes) . \n[http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html](http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html) Page 1 of 6 \nNow you have the top of the cube as all one colour! \nThe next step is to get all the surrounding edge colours the same and for them to match their corresponding center colours. This creates a T shape as indicated below. \nThere are two solutions to achieve the above stage. Follow the one that applies. \nSwap the positions \nof 1 and 2 \nThe next stage is to complete 2 layers of the cube. As above. \nTo achieve this stage you must now turn your cube upside \ndown. The T shape now turned on its head. Again there are \ntwo methods of achieving this next stage. You may need to \nuse one or both methods to complete. \n[http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html](http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html) Page 2 of 6 \nNow follow the next set of moves to achieve a cross shape on the top of the cube as indicated below. Keep turning the cube as indicated below until an L shape appears as above. Keeping this L shape in the position above (furthest away from you) . In this position you will only need to follow the next set of moves once again to achieve the cross. \nTop View \n[http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html](http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html) Page 3 of 6 \nThe next stage to completing the cube is to get all the top corner squares, matching the corresponding side colours. Todo this you must first align one corner only so that it matches it's corresponding side colours (this corner may not match exactly) . This corner is then taken as the reference point. If 2 or 3 corners match their corresponding side colours then keep making either of the moves outlined below until only one corner matches. Then follow one of the steps below to get all \ncorners in the right position. \nWhen all four top corners are in their correct positions \n(although colours may not align) proceed to the either or both \nof the next stages. Now your reference point has changed \n[http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html](http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html) Page 4 of 6 \nagain. Keep the corner that is correct in it's position as indicated \"fixed\" as you turn the planes according to the following moves. \nThis set of moves rotates three of the four corners. \nYou may find that you have already completed the cube at \nthis stage. If however you have not you will find yourself in \nthe following position \n1. Two or Three of the top center squares are in the \ncorrect position \n2. Three of the top center squares are in the wrong \nposition. \n1. If two or three of the top center squares are in the correct \nposition, you must make the moves as indicated below until \nonly one center square is in the correct position then follow \nthe moves once or twice more to complete the cube. \n[http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html](http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html) Page 5 of 6 \n2. With one center colour in its correct position make the moves indicated below to complete the cube. You may need to make these moves a few times to complete. \n[directfx.co.uk](directfx.co.uk) \n[http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html](http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html) \n[http://www.scaredcat.demon.co.uk/rubikscube/the_solution.html](http://www.scaredcat.","cbCaie2DM1ATw12S","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaie2DM1ATw12S","pdf",206212,6,"English","# How to Solve the Rubik's Cube (3x3x3)\n## Complete One Face and Choose Moves by Conditions\n## Form T Shape and Match Edge Colors\n## Complete 2 Layers (Turn Cube Upside Down)\n## Create Top Cross and L Shape\n## Align Top Corners Using a Reference Point\n## Rotate Top Corners and Handle Top Center Square Cases","[{\"question\":\"What is the first step to solve a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube?\",\"answer\":\"Complete just one face of the cube.
