Each Round Square school has been asked to contribute 100 miles, interpreted through activities as diverse as dancing, hiking, reading, litter-picking, and gardening-all in the spirit of service.  \nPlease join us in congratulating the latest schools to complete the challenge:  \n Modern School, Barakhamba Road in New Delhi, India, completed more than 160km of running, horse-riding, swimming, cycling and a lemonade fundraiser.  \n GEMS New Millennium School in Dubai, UAE recorded 12,875.25 man-hours of physical activity in a three-week initiative called “Three Weeks of Purposeful Movement and Unity” through a variety of physical activities including football, swimming, judo, skating, and dance across PE lessons and squad practices.  \n Dunn School in California, USA, completed participants completed miles through a variety of active and community-building efforts, including hiking, biking, walking, and school-wide Colour Run.  \n Indian School al G hub ra in Oman organised a Staff vs Students cricket match on the school grounds to complete its miles and raised funds through a bake sale.  \n“This is not just an exercise in fundraising,” says Round Squareʼs Chief Executive, Rachael Westgarth.“We are pursuing an idea generated by students, and simply helping them to scale it globally. Hopefully we are going to learn that we can achieve a lot when we each contribute a little. 100 students each walking a mile in every Round Square school can get us right around the world.
