Entry to our program is highly competitive, and references help us admit the students who are the best fit for the program .  \nRISD Pre-College is an intensive, on-campus college-level program . During their time with us, our students are adjusting to life at college while participating in a rigorous studio-focused program . They meet and interact with a diverse group of students and instructors from all over the country and world, and many have a roommate for the first time. There is about 40 hours of work per week with multiple deadlines each week and their work will be critiqued extensively.
