The introduction presents a hook about whether students should wear uniforms or choose their own clothing, then states a thesis that uniforms should not be required due to forced sameness, affordability barriers for some students, and potential high costs. But affording them, will always bea problem when it comes to uniforms. No one knows if you can afford the uniforms that the school is giving. \nThesis: I don’t think kids should wear uniforms to school because they have to wear the same clothes as everyone else, some students might not be able to wear uniforms, and uniforms could be expensive. \nBody Paragraph 1: \nPoint 1 Assertion: If schools require uniforms, the students would have to wear the same thing as everyone else. \nPoint 1 Evidence 1: Some students might not like wearing the same clothes as everyone else. \nPoint 1 Explanation 1: It would feel awkward to wear the same thing as everyone else. Being twins with everyone… doesn’t sound good. I know girls and boys will have different things to wear, but still, it would be awkward to wear something everyone else is wearing. \nPoint 1 Evidence 2: Schools have to make the same type of uniform for everyone. \nPoint 1 Explanation 2: I’m pretty sure making the same uniform for everyone, would cost lots and lots of money, so getting uniforms would be a waste. \nBody Paragraph 2: \nPoint 2 Assertion: Some students might not be able to wear the uniforms. \nPoint 2 Evidence 1: Some students might not feel comfortable wearing their uniforms. \nPoint 2 Explanation 1: For example, shorts, or skirts. Girls may not be comfortable with wearing skirts. It is possible and you can’t force them to do that. And we don’t want students going way out of their comfort zone. It just might feel weird for them. \nPoint 2 Evidence 2: Some students may not be able to wear uniforms because of their religion. \nPoint 2 Explanation 2: students might not be allowed to wear uniforms, maybe some students might not be able to wear skirts or shorts, because their religion won’t let them. \nBody Paragraph 3: \nPoint 3 Assertion: Uniforms can be expensive for some students \nPoint 3 Evidence 1: Some student’s parents might not be able to afford the uniforms. \nPoint 3 Explanation 1: If something like that happens, it would be hard for them to get a uniform, especially since it’s required. \nPoint 3 Evidence 2: It is possible for schools to make uniforms a little expensive so they can get more money. \nPoint 3 Explanation 2: That would just be terrible, a lot of people are just wasting money on uniforms instead of wearing their own type of clothes that are way cheaper. \nConclusion: \nSummary of main points in different words: So this is why Uniforms should not be required for schools. I’ ll repeat it again: Wearing the same clothes as other people, won’t be liked by many students, it is possible for some students to not be allowed to wear uniforms, and some people won’t be able to afford it, or it’ ll be too expensive.","cbCaipunayNgnml2","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaipunayNgnml2","pdf",59106,"English","# Introduction\n## Hook\n## Background information\n## Thesis\n# Body Paragraph 1\n## Assertion\n## Evidence and explanation\n# Body Paragraph 2\n## Assertion\n## Evidence and explanation\n# Body Paragraph 3\n## Assertion\n## Evidence and explanation\n# Conclusion\n## Summary of main points","[{\"question\":\"Why does the essay argue that kids should not wear uniforms to school?\",\"answer\":\"It claims uniforms force everyone to wear the same clothes, some students may not be able to wear them comfortably or at all, and uniforms could be expensive.\"},{\"question\":\"What reasons does the essay give for students feeling awkward with uniforms?\",\"answer\":\"It explains that having to wear the same thing as everyone else could feel awkward, and that schools would also need to produce the same uniform for everyone, which is costly.\"},{\"question\":\"How does the essay connect uniforms to affordability and access problems?\",\"answer\":\"It states that parents may not be able to afford required uniforms, making it difficult for students to obtain them, and suggests uniforms could be priced higher in ways that waste money.\"}]","Riddhi-Simhadri-Essay-Outline | PDF",1790082218]
