Background information  \nWWF-Cambodia works to conserve the country’s rich biodiversity by promoting strong community participation and sustainable natural resource management. By encouraging responsible resource use, WWF-Cambodia aims to create opportunities that enhance local livelihoods and contribute to poverty reduction. The Eastern Plains Landscape (EPL) spans over 14,000 km² and is recognized as one of the world’s most biologically significant regions due to its exceptional species diversity and endemism is WWF’s priority conservation landscape.  \nWWF Cambodia has been working with the relevant government authorities to strengthen and support conservation law enforcement across key landscapes for two decades. We are seeking an experienced consultant to assess, review the current conservation law enforcement interventions of WWF, identify gaps and opportunities and develop a five year protection strategy for the Eastern Plains Landscape.  \nAdditionally, WWF has established global standards and guidelines to support government law enforcement agencies and community rangers in conservation efforts. The consultant will play a key role in developing a national Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Cambodia and Cameroon, ensuring alignment with these WWF global standards. Furthermore, the consultant will be responsible for creating a flexible, generic SOP template that can be adapted and utilized by other WWF offices, enhancing consistency and effectiveness across global conservation law enforcement initiatives.  \n2.
