Managing and deliver fundraising campaigns and activities across a specific geographic area to achieve significant income growth in line with the fundraising strategy and to also support other fundraising initiatives progressed by Action for Children.  \n2. Researching and developing volunteer group prospects to create a pipeline of opportunities to maximise the amount of income to be raised.  \n3. Securing support and introductions to potential funders and fundraisers i.e. local businesses, supporters, sports clubs, schools etc and build and sustain relationships to maximise opportunities to grow income in-year and future years.  \n4. Securing and setting up ‘Action Squads’, for volunteer led fundraising groups to successfully fundraise and raise awareness in a specific geographic area and to obtain support for the sports portfolio, encouraging the public to run, walk, cycle for Action for Children.  \n5. Always demonstrating accountability to supporters and volunteers and operating with openness, honesty, transparency and consistent with all current Fundraising regulatory standards, data protection, VAT and Gift Aid legislation.  \n6. Managing and delivering on set financial targets and outcomes set across the specific geographic area.  \n7. Monitoring and analyse financial income and expenditure, ensuring forecasted income has been received and banked.  \n8. Administering and managing the necessary manual and electronic office systems and processes that will support the efficient delivery of the specialist fundraising team objectives.  \n9. Identifying and securing a range of budget relieving Gift in Kind and Pro Bono opportunities ensuring that the personal and/or brand exposure from such activities is commensurate to the value of the gift.  \n10. Acting as an ambassador for Action for Children in your local area to build awareness of our organisation and to share the importance of raising crucial funds for the children and young people we support.  \nTo do this, you will have:  \nQualifications and training  \n1. Professional Institute of Fundraising qualification (desirable. )  \n2. Membership of IoF (desirable)  \nSkills, knowledge and experience  \n1. Demonstrable track record of continual achievement leading and delivering fundraising in a specific geographic area  \n2. Proven understanding supplier agreements, contracts, funding agreements and where these are affected by VAT and other Fundraising legislation.  \n3. Knowledge and understanding of tax efficient giving in the UK  \n4. Ability to manage challenging situations and to ensure the delivery of events and fundraising activity in a safe and professional manner.  \n5. Demonstrable experience of applying current Health and Safety legislation and carrying out risk assessments.  \n6. Proven experience of networking and influencing to achieved desired outcomes.  \n7. Ability to write compelling cases for support  \n8. Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion when dealing with HNWIs and organisations.  \n9. Proven ability to project manage a team of fundraisers to achieve against specific financial goals where appropriate.  \n10. Demonstrable experience of devising and implementing successful fundraising initiatives.  \n11. Ability to monitor income and expenditure against budget and KPIs, analyse results and make appropriate changes to ensure targets are met.  \n12.
