The position assists in managing all aspects of custodial services, maintenance operations, building systems, grounds, athletic fields, capital projects, and emergency response.  \nThe successful candidate leads by example and actively participates in maintenance, repairs, construction projects, and snow operations while supervising staff, coordinating contractors, and ensuring safe, efficient school facilities.  \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities  \n􀀂 Assist in supervising custodial and maintenance staff, with particular emphasis on custodial operations throughout District facilities.  \n􀀂 Assist with the selection, training, development, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of maintenance and custodial personnel.  \n􀀂 Develop, schedule, and manage preventive maintenance programs and computerized work order systems.  \n􀀂 Regularly inspect buildings, grounds, mechanical systems, heating plants, water treatment systems, and lifesafety equipment to identify deficiencies and needed maintenance or repairs.  \n􀀂 Assist in planning and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, camera, generator, water treatment, and other building systems.  \n􀀂 Utilize Building Management/Building Automation Systems (BMS/BAS) to monitor building and HVAC system performance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, respond to system alarms, review operating conditions, adjust schedules and setpoints as appropriate, assist with optimizing energy efficiency, and coordinate necessary repairs.  \n􀀂 Identify and evaluate mechanical, structural, and building deficiencies;
