It provides the Department of Energy with a detailed yet concise technical update on award progress, covering work performed by the prime recipient, subrecipients, and contractors, aligned to objectives, milestones, and schedule/budget plans. The template includes required cover page certifications, executive summary guidance, status narratives for goals, achievements, impacts, schedule, budget, and documented changes or problems, plus required handling of protected and limited-rights data.","Performance Report – Narrative\nSource: This form is based on information provided in the Federal Assistance Reporting Checklist (FARC) that came with your award package. Should there be differences between the Performance Report – Narrative (PRN) and the FARC, please follow the guidance in the FARC.\nPurpose: To provide DOE with a detailed yet concise technical update on the award’s progress – i.e., the entirety of work performed by the prime recipient, subrecipients, and contractors.
