I have a B.A. in Writing and Publishing from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. I served as Director of Creative Communications at Medinah Baptist Church in Medinah, Illinois, from 2010-2013. In this position, I created all graphics, bulletins, email blasts, slides, banners, signs, web graphics, etc., maintaining a consistent look throughout the church. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, ProPresenter and Planning Center Online, and I have experience maintaining websites in Wordpress and other formats. I’m also extremely detail-oriented and am a perfectionist when it comes to proper grammar and spelling. I look at everything with both a creative and editor’s eye, which I think is a great balance in any position. \nDuring my time at Medinah Baptist, I’ve served in the music ministry as a worship leader, vocalist and instrumentalist. I was also a regular worship leader for the Restore ministry at Harvest Bible Chapel in Naperville. In addition to occasionally co-leading worship at First Baptist Church of Geneva, I was part of the worship team at FBCG’s college and career group for several years. I loved working and serving at the church and having the opportunity to use my God-given gifts to spread the gospel. \nI became a believer when I was six years old. My first-grade teacher told us the Easter account and then said that anyone who believed in Jesus as their Savior could pray the following prayer with her. I prayed that prayer and put my faith in Christ that day. I also rededicated my life to Christ when I was 13 and on tour with a Christian singing group called The Young Continentals. \nI have always loved singing and playing music, but it wasn’t until 2011 when I went to a night of worship led by All Sons and Daughters that I truly felt like God was calling me to be a worship leader. I still feel that way and have pursued that goal ever since. \nAs far as the relationship between Pastor and Worship Director, I do believe that the Pastor should have the final word. But I also believe there should be a level of trust in the Worship Director, that this person knows what they’re doing and should be free to choose music they feel would be \nbest. Overall, I think it should be a collaborative relationship to put together a cohesive worship service that is glorifying to God. \nI’ve attached my resume for your consideration, and you can view my online portfolio (with design samples, recordings and videos) at [http://](http://)[ ](http://)[rebecca-brogan.tumblr.com](rebecca-brogan.tumblr.com. I would prefer a full-time position)[. I would prefer a full-time position](rebecca-brogan.tumblr.com. I would prefer a full-time position), but I’m absolutely open to a part-time position as well.
