We will video record 6-8 former student/alumni testimonials to be included under the prospective students (or another appropriate) section on the VC website and on the introductory presentation that will roll while students are waiting in the room for NSGA to start. The student testimonials will be first-hand accounts (approx. 30 seconds-1 min in length) of a specific program or courses that former student took at VC & how the college benefited the student in some way (ie: earned Cert or AAS, which helped them get their current job, took courses for Academic Transfer which saved them money on basics, etc. ) . In each testimonial the student will highlight a support service that benefited them while at Vernon College (i.e: PASS Center, Special Services, relationship w/a faculty member, advising, counseling, financial aid, work study, etc. ) . Prospective students who view the clips will be able to identify a support service from each clip and how actual students utilized those services.
