This role involves hands-on inspections, documenting findings, and working closely with production teams to identify and address quality issues.  \nMajor Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:  \n• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process components, finished products, and purchased raw materials.  \n• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other testing equipment.  \n• Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.  \n• Identify, document , and report defects, deviations, or non-conformances in products and processes.  \n• Perform and document calibration and verification of inspection.  \n• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with Polycast quality standards.  \n• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.  \n• Assist with production audits to ensure required quality checks and inspections are completed.  \n• Assist with maintenance and updates to quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and inspection records.  \n• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.  \n• Operate a hoist, pallet jack, and/or forklift safely.  \n• Perform other related projects and duties as assigned.  \nSkills & Qualifications:  \n• High School diploma or GED required. Post-secondary degree or technical certification in quality ora related discipline is an asset.  \n• 2-3 years’ experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment.  \n• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.  \n• Trained and competent with basic measuring , inspection, and calibration tools.  \n• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.  \n• Motivated self-starter with high level of initiative , results driven, and extremely detail oriented.  \n• Positive team-player who is adaptable, open minded, and works with a sense of urgency.  \n• Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 standards.
