Update on Waterway Boulevard project  \nAdministrator Kerr said the utility subcontractor is working on getting the conflicts out of the way. Conflicts have been cleared at 23rd and 30th avenues, and they are moving to 32nd Avenue. Staff will meet with Thomas & Hutton today to discuss the project.  \nDirector Asero reported that paving will begin as soon as the path drives. He also mentioned that they are reviewing stormwater compliance to see if they can delay laying sod since it will be laid without irrigation. They want to lay the sod at a time that would ensure its survival. He has received no complaints from residents about the project.  \nB. Update and discussion of beach projects  \nAdministrator Kerr reported that the entire renourishment project is now under contract with Marinex. State and Federal permits are in hand. Staff met with CS&E and Marinex for apreconstruction meeting to verify timelines and details of the project. PIO Officer Uys is preparing a map for the City’s website that will detail the progress of the project as it moves  \nalong the beach. Marinex believes it will be early July before sand is laid on the beach, and the project should end in November.  \nAdministrator Kerr said sandbag removal and adding vegetation and fencing are City expenses. There is $900,000 in the budget for these concerns. The State requires that the sandbags be removed 15 days prior to sand being placed in an area.
