BID SECURITY  \nEach bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond by a surety licensed and authorized to do business within the State of Michigan, in the amount of 5% of the total of the bid price.  \nProposals that fail to provide a bid security upon proposal opening will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered for award.  \nC.
