ODVN advances the principles that all people have the right to an oppression and violence-free life; fosters changes in economic, social, and political systems; and brings leadership, expertise, and best practices to community programs. ODVN is committed to providing high standards of service delivery to the funders and programs that it represents, thereby providing the best services possible for domestic violence survivors and their children.  \nThe current revision of this manual was completed in July 2022. Practitioners are encouraged to use this manual in conjunction with, rather than as a substitute for, ongoing training and research reviews. Some programs refer to the Promising Practices Manual as the model used for programming in grant applications.
