The guide covers plug-in installation and compatibility through the Plugins Management interface, then describes how to define template usage settings, select templates by id and class, and restrict templates by element type and project. It details management of available versus usable template files, template preview, template testing with item ids, and how templates can be generated per project.","PROJEQTOR \nTEMPLATE REPORT \nTECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION \nVERSION: V 3.0 \nREFERENCE: PLUGIN – TEMPLATE REPORT \nSOMMAIRE \n\n| SETUP | 3 |\n| --- | --- |\n| REPLACE DEFAULT EDITION WITH TEMPLATE | 4 |\n| DESCRIPTION | 4 |\n| MANAGEMENT OF TEMPLATE FILES | 5 |\n| AVAILABLE TEMPLATE FILES | 5 |\n| USABLE TEMPLATE FILES | 5 |\n| PREVIEW TEMPLATE | 6 |\n| TEST OF TEMPLATE | 6 |\n| TEMPLATE REPORT PER PROJECT | 7 |\n| TEMPLATE STRUCTURE | 7 |\n| USE TEMPLATE | 9 |\n| LIMITS | 10 |\n| CHANGE HISTORY | 11 |\n\nINTRODUCTION 3 \nINTRODUCTION \nThe objective of this document is to explain how to use the plug-in \" Template Report \" . \nWith this plug-in you can replace default edition of detail of an item or list of items with a customized one from a template file in various formats (docx, xlsx, pptx, html, txt, odt, ods, odp) . \nSETUP \nWhen acquiring a plugin, you get a . zip file. \nTo install it, go to the Plugins Management screen. \nIn the section of installed plugins, you have the list of plugins already in place with the version of the latter and on which version of ProjeQtOr you installed it. Compatibility information is given. \nIn the available plugins section, click on the browe button to retrieve your . zip file. \nOnce the file is uploaded, it appears in a table. \nClick on to install your plugin \nClick on to view the plugin metadata. \nClick on to cancel the installation of this plugin. \nWhen the zip is installed, the application restarts. Go to the Plugin menu to access it. \nREPLACE DEFAULT EDITION WITH TEMPLATE \nWhen plugin is installed, you get a new screen “Template Report”: \nDESCRIPTION \nOn this part of the screen, you can define new template usage: \n▪ id: id of the template definition \n▪ name: name for the template definition \nit will help you select the template if you define several for the same class \n▪ element: the class of the element the template will be used for relevant to select if template will be used for “list” of for “detail” \n▪ type: the type of the element, to restrict use for this type. \nnot available if template is relevant to “list” \n▪ project: the project to restrict use for this project not available if template is relevant to “list” \n▪ template file template file to use (select from “usable” templates) \nOn section “management of template files” you can define the “available” and “usable” templates. \nThe available template files list all templates that are stored in template library. \nSeveral templates are provided with the plugin to help you understand how it works. \nYou can use the browse button to add a new template to the template library. \nClick on to display the creation date and the size of the document Click on to download and edit the selected document \nClick on to delete the document of the list and the plugin folder \nUsable template files list all template files that can be used. When using template, only the template files present in this list will be visible and usable. \nSelect a template file from the \"available template files\" list and click on to add a template file to the list. This will make a copy of the \"available\" library into the \"usable\" library. \nThe \"Template preview\" section, displays an image of the selected template file in \"available template files\". Click on the browse button to upload the image of your file. \nOn section “Test of template” you can test your template file and get the resulting file. \nYou can use the button “show available fields” to list all fields you can use on template file for the select item class (here the fields for the tickets) . \nYou can use the button to test the template for a dedicated item. \nFor test template on “detail”, first select id of the item you want to use for result. This is not mandatory for template on “list”(first 10 items will be used for the test) \nYou can use last checkbox to test from “available template”(in the library) rather than using “usable template”. This will allow you to upload new version (in ","cbCaihoU2WiJbfXy","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaihoU2WiJbfXy","pdf",678198,"English","en",105,"# SETUP\n## REPLACE DEFAULT EDITION WITH TEMPLATE\n# DESCRIPTION\n## MANAGEMENT OF TEMPLATE FILES\n## AVAILABLE TEMPLATE FILES\n## USABLE TEMPLATE FILES\n## PREVIEW TEMPLATE\n## TEST OF TEMPLATE\n# TEMPLATE REPORT PER PROJECT\n# TEMPLATE STRUCTURE\n## USE TEMPLATE\n# LIMITS\n# CHANGE HISTORY","[{\"question\":\"How is the Template Report plug-in installed in ProjeQtOr?\",\"answer\":\"Download and upload the plug-in zip through Plugins Management, then install it and restart the application.
