This includes developing, initiating, and managing all phases of projects. The Project Engineer must prepare documentation of critical analysis and provide suggestions for correcting errors, as well as collaborate with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources.  \nJOB DUTIES:  \nEssential Functions:  \n• Provide strategic direction for industrial refrigeration system design, infrastructure, compliance, and efficiency.  \n• Estimate projects and submit project proposals.  \n• Size refrigeration equipment and piping.  \n• Interact with vendors, supported design reviews, and engineering assessments.  \n• Provide technical support to Project Managers, Refrigeration Technicians, Piping Designers, and customers.  \n• Oversee installation of new system or machinery.  \n• Prepare detailed P&ID drawings on a project specific basis  \n• Develop Instrumentation Bill of Materials on a project specific basis  \n• Contribute to the standardization process of modular reciprocating compressor packages.  \n• Act as a client liaison and project manager, overseeing cost control.  \n• Work with the fabrication group to ensure proper project execution.  \n• Work with the service group to ensure proper installation and commissioning.  \n• Provide technical service support to service groups and to customers.  \nAdditional Responsibilities:  \n• Assume other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as requested.  \n• Adhere to company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.  \nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  \nEducation:  \n• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of relevant education and work experience.  \n• Working knowledge of CAD or AutoCAD.  \nExperience:  \n• Experience in mechanical engineering required.  \nOther Skills:  \n• Proven leadership skills, work ethic, and ability to work on a team.  \n• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  \nPHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS:  \n• The position requires a physical presence at the Company’s corporate offices located in Pampa, TX.  \n• The noise level in the primary work environment is usually moderate i.e. , business office with computer printer, and light traffic.  \n• Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.  \n• Regularly requires sitting at a computer screen for extended periods of time.  \n• Frequently requires analyzing and interpreting data and extended focus.  \n• Regularly required to use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel or reach for objects, tools, etc.  \n• Regularly required to express or exchange ideas by means of the written or spoken word.  \n• Occasionally required to move about, sit, stand, carry up to 10 lbs.  \n• Mental requirements include the ability to read, write, reason, problem solve and perform mathematical calculations.  \nThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
