SUMMARY:  \nThe Production Associate is responsible for sorting, hanging, pricing and overseeing quality assurance of salable donations received at Bread & Roses. The overall goal of the position is to ensure the steady production of merchandise to meet daily/ weekly/ monthly quotas to sustain production plant and retail operation.  \nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:  \n! Remove salvage material and garbage from salable goods.  \n! Sort and inspect all assigned donations.  \n! Prepare donated clothing items for sale: hanging, tagging, steaming and pricing.  \n! Evaluate and determine product value, utilizing pricing guidelines set by Store Policy and Management.  \n! Price items to prepare to move to sales floor.  \n! Identify goods for special sales and auctions.  \n! Maintain production tallies and meet productivity goals.  \n! Ensure adequate merchandise quantities in the retail store. Maintain supplies inventory.  \n! Communicate with co-workers regarding product inventory, working cooperatively and collaboratively to meet store goals.  \n! Maintain a clean work area and contribute to a clean and safe work environment.  \n! Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.  \n! Process and remove unsold items as appropriate.  \n!
