Online Application  \n● The application for OCI must be completed online at [https://ociservices.gov.in/](https://ociservices.gov.in/ and physical)[ and physical](https://ociservices.gov.in/ and physical) form should be submitted with relevant documents only via post to the Consulate.  \n● Please choose “Munich” as the consulate. Forms from other Missions/ Consulates cannot be processed.  \n● Applicant’s having a valid City Registration/ Meldebescheinigung/ Personalausweis from the region of Bavaria or Baden Württemberg will be accepted. Applications from other regions will be returned.  \n2. Personal Particulars  \n● All personal particulars / data entries must match the current German/Foreign Passport (section no. 1 – 10 & 26 – 29 of the application form).  \n● Self, Parents’ and spouse names must match their Indian passports (section no. 12 – 18 of the application form).  \n● In section no. 25 of the application form, please mention “Self” if ever held Indian Passport. If eligibility is due to parents/ grandparents/ great grandparents, please specify the relationship with the Root Indian as the case may be. Please fill all sections of the form, if information is available.  \n● Photograph (2x2 inch or 50x50mm) and signature of the applicant should be uploaded on the OCI portal to complete the application form. Surrender Certificate (Mandatory)  \nSurrender Certificate of Indian Passport is mandatory for OCI Card Application. Incase the applicant has not surrendered Indian Passport after obtaining German nationality/passport, the OCI Card Application will not be accepted.
