The template supports compliant submission by defining requirements for a self-contained abstract, ordered by motivation, problem statement, approach, results, and conclusions, and by specifying keyword selection for indexing. It also covers manuscript submission eligibility, permission handling for reused figures and tables, language and length expectations, and standardized text formatting such as fonts, spacing, page numbering, and equation tools.","Paper title: Preparation of papers for ECMF\n(Only the first letter of the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized)\nFirst A. Use this document as a template if you are using Microsoft Word or later for Windows, or Word X or later for Mac OS X. Otherwise, use this document as an instruction set. Please provide one paragraph containing a complete but concise description of your work in 100–300 words. The abstract should consist of motivation, problem statement, approach, results, and conclusions in order to make the paper appealing to more readers. Be sure to define all symbols used in the abstract. Since the abstract is indexed in many databases, it should be self-contained without any undefined abbreviations or any cited references.\nKeywords\nPlease provide 4–6 keywords which can be used for indexing purpose.\nNomenclature (Or others such as Abbreviation, if necessary; nomenclature entries should have the units identified)\nIntroduction\nExperimental and Computational Multiphase Flow (ECMF) is a peer-reviewed international journal that is co-published by Tsinghua University Press and Springer. ECMF publishes original high-quality research papers and significant review articles on the transport phenomena of mass, momentum, and heat in multiphase flows from theoretical, experimental, and computational perspectives. The Journal publishes scholarly research papers, invited review articles, brief communications, letters, and comments on previously published papers. The effort of the Editorial Board will be ensuring the Journal to publish novel researches that advance the field, and will provide authors with a productive, fair, and timely review experience.\nManuscript submission\nLegal requirements for submission of a manuscript include: the work described has not been published before, and it is also not under consideration for publication anywhere else. Its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities (universities, institutes …) where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.\nAuthors wishing to include figures, tables, or texts that have already been published elsewhere (including the authors’ own previous papers) are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner (the publisher of the journal, not the authors of the paper) and to state clearly in the figure/table caption or other appropriate locations in the manuscript that such permission has been obtained. For example: (author(s), year; reproduced with permission, © Copyright-holder Copyright-year). Any content received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors. It is the authors’ responsibility to retain an electronic or hardcopy of the permission.\nThe journal accepts submissions electronically via an online manuscript submission, review, and tracking system called ScholarOne ManuscriptsTM. This will allow quicker and more efficient processing of the manuscripts. Please go to the link https://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/ecmf to submit your manuscript online. To expedite the review process, authors are requested to provide a list of potential reviewers.
