Council is responsible to ensure the PoM meets the requirements of the LG Act and CLM Act.\nThis site-specific PoM template is for one reserve where the use of the land is complex, with multiple categories and multiple uses.\nImportantly, under the LG Act some types of community land must have a site-specific plan of management. These include areas of land:\nthat have been identified to be of Aboriginal, historical or cultural significance\ncomprising the habitat of threatened or endangered species\nwith significant natural features or land that provides a wildlife corridor.\nA site-specific PoM may be required for a reserve that includes these areas – for example, a sportsground with a heritage grandstand of state historical significance.\nAlso, Crown reserves identified as requiring a more detailed management process, council can address these requirements with site-specific management plans.\nFurther information about site-specific PoM is included in the PoM Guideline.\n\u000f\nUsing this template\nInstructions and guidance\nInstructions are in blue italics, with blue shading.
