These activities have focused on regional judicial leadership meetings and networks, capacity-building and training, and pilot projects to address the local needs of courts in Pacific Island Countries (PICs) . \nToolkits \nSince mid-2013, PJDP has launched a collection of toolkits for the ongoing development ofcourts in the region. These toolkits aim to support partnercourts to implement their development activities atthe local level by providing information and practical guidance on what to do. These toolkits include: \n• Producing annual court reports \n• Developing codes ofjudicial conduct \n• Establishing national judicial development committees \n• Conducting family violence and youth justice workshops \n• Setting time-standards for case management \n• Promoting access to justice \nThese toolkitsare designed to support change by promoting the local use, management, ownership and sustainability ofjudicial development in PICs across the region. By developing and making available these resources, PJDP aims to build local capacity to enable partner courts to address local needs and reduce reliance on external donor and adviser support. \nPJDP is nowadding to the collection this newtoolkit: Trainer’s Toolkit: Designing, Delivering and Evaluating Training Programs. Much of the content of this toolkit is sourced from a number of Trainer of Trainers Workshops which have been piloted and conducted around the Pacific between 2010-5. This toolkit provides practical guidance on managing key aspects of your training program, and contains many useful templates, checklists and advice for trainers. \nUse and support \nThese toolkits are available on-line forthe use of partner courts. We hope that partner courts will use these toolkits as/when required. Should you need any additional assistance, please contact us [at:](at: pjdp@fedcourt.gov.au)[ ](at: pjdp@fedcourt.gov.au)[pjdp@fedcourt.gov.au](at: pjdp@fedcourt.gov.au) \nYour feedback \nWe also invite partner courts to provide feedback and suggestions for continual improvement. \nDr. Livingston Armytage Team Leader, \nPacific Judicial Development Programme May 2014. \nTable of Contents \nObjective........................................................................................................................................................... iii \n1 Learning and Training Theory ................................................................................................................... 1 \n1.1 What is training?.................................................................................................................................... 1 \n2 Adult Learners........................................................................................................................................... 2 \n3 Learning Styles ......................................................................................................................................... 3 \n3.2 Kolb's Learner Classification ..................................................................................................................... 4 \n3.3 Why are learning styles important? ........................................................................................................... 5 \n3.4 The Training Cycle .................................................................................................................................... 6 \n4 Designing Your Training Program..............................................","cbCait0XOgwXM7SL","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCait0XOgwXM7SL","pdf",409445,36,"English","# Objective\n# Learning and Training Theory\n## What is training?\n# Adult Learners\n# Learning Styles\n## Kolb's Learner Classification\n## Why are learning styles important?\n## The Training Cycle\n# Designing Your Training Program\n## The Daily Plan\n## The Session Plan\n## Learning objectives and learning outcomes\n## Determining topics and content\n# Delivering the training\n## Introduction\n## Delivering the body (content) of the session\n# Presentations Techniques\n## Traditional Techniques\n## Workshop Facilitation Techniques\n## Large Groups Methods\n## Small Groups\n# Papers, Handouts and Materials","[{\"question\":\"What is the purpose of the PJDP Trainer’s Toolkit in Phase 2?\",\"answer\":\"It provides practical guidance for managing key aspects of a training program, including templates, checklists, and advice for trainers supporting partner courts.\"},{\"question\":\"Which topics are covered under learning and training theory?\",\"answer\":\"The toolkit covers what training is, learning and training theory basics, adult learners, learning styles, Kolb’s learner classification, and the training cycle.\"},{\"question\":\"How does the toolkit guide trainers on delivering and facilitating sessions?\",\"answer\":\"It includes guidance on delivering the session content, presentation techniques, workshop facilitation methods, and approaches for large and small groups.\"}]","PJDP Phase 2 - TRAINER’S TOOLKIT: DESIGNING, DELIVERING AND EVALUATING TRAINING PROGRAMS | PDF",1790102553,13]
